Parivartan along with Mental Health Institute (MHI) Sector 32, Chandigarh provides vocational rehabilitation for persons with mental illness in a variety of trades viz. , Cutting & tailoring unit, art & craft unit, paper recycling unit, kitchen and computer section etc. Parivartan provides vocational instructors and raw material to run various sections and takes the responsibility of marketing and selling of product made by person with Mental Illness. The remuneration/salary earned by patients while working in these sections gives a great boost to their self-confidence and many are able to shift to competitive employment in the open market.
